ABOUT THE ARTIST |
|
|
Sigrun has practiced her art for over 35 years and has won numerous prizes and awards. Born in Denmark, Sigrun began as a child developing her artistic abilities in china painting. Her background includes special training from the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Factory in Denmark and the Rosenthal factory in Germany, where she was taught by "master craftsmen." She has been a member of the I.P.A.T. organization for 25 years. She specializes in the European One-Fire Technique of porcelain painting, which is used in her versatile subject matter. The "Flora Danica" porcelain painting continues to be a favorite as she is, also, creating her own designs and patterns. As a testimony of her excellence, she has published a book, produced a "how to" video, and a second video is in production. Make Art Part of Your Life. "My goal," says Sigrun, "is to share my knowledge and creativity with as many other people as possible." ABOUT PALM SPRINGS I want to tell you about our historic town Palm Springs. European Seminars |

These four-day seminars are taught in the EUROPEAN "ONE FIRE" TECHNIQUE Seminars will be held in Palm Springs at Sigrun's Porcelain Painting Art School. Since the seminars are Limited To 10 Students, Seminar hours are from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM, The seminars are $100.00. All Designs are in "My Book" - and all china is imported from Europe The China pieces and supplies may be purchased at the beginning of the seminar. Supplies are available at the seminar.
